“There’s always something new going on, and there’s never a moment of boredom. I get to work on different projects week to week, and this has given me so much insight into the journalism, business and legal aspects of running an online publication and educational resource. In my first two weeks, I’ve written for the News Decoder blog, I’ve worked on privacy matters and a whole bunch more.” – Angela Gu, a former News Decoder intern

“From the get-go I was included in all the behind-the-scenes at News Decoder and truly felt as if I was part of the team. Nelson, Savannah and Lauren encouraged me to ask questions, make suggestions and be involved in the decision-making. I wrote articles, took part in webinars and helped organize the Storytelling contest. Though I often had to step out of my comfort zone, I know I’m the better for it.” — Dylan Carlson Sirvent, a former News Decoder intern
