News-Decoder has 17 academic partners spread across 10 countries. These highly reputable institutions play a special role in our global community. Their students write for our website, organize and participate in our webinars and spearhead discussion on our online forum.
As members of our not-for-profit, the institutions are invited to our annual general meeting and so play a crucial role in shaping News-Decoder’s strategy and future.
News-Decoder has two media partners, the African News Agency (ANA) and Podium.me.
ANA, a news service with headquarters in Cape Town, South Africa, subscribes to our news feed, and a team of News-Decoder correspondents with extensive expertise in Africa provides exclusive articles on the continent for ANA.
Podium.me is a UK-based charity that helps young people under age 25 produce podcasts. News-Decoder’s partnership with Podium is a student-led content partnership. News-Decoder and Podium.me produce a joint podcast called The Kids Are Alright where young reporters interview their peers and experts to provide listeners with different perspectives on global issues.
