Fishermen, weavers, painters, jacks-of-all-trades, builders, artisans and craftsmen are captured in these photographs taken by globetrotters from a French not-for-profit.

For the past six months, News-Decoder has been working out of the offices of a terrific French not-for-profit called Aventure du Bout du Monde (ABM).

For 28 years, ABM has been a valuable resource for globetrotters who seek out exotic destinations.

Every year, ABM runs a contest featuring photos from its members. Below is a selection of photos from their most recent competition which had the theme, “Jobs Around The World.”

News-Decoder is moving out of ABM’s offices as we tackle new challenges, but we will remember the hospitality of Didier Jéhanno and Odile Paugam, and the pleasures of watching their Shiba Inu puppy, Aika, grow.
